Are you ready?

Food shortage is not the problem. Economic collapse is the problem.

Think about it. 330 Million people and 6500 have Covid-19 and 75 are dead. That is less than 2 tenths of the population yet the stock marked is sinking like the Titanic. So strongest economy is trashed because less than 1 percent of the population gets sick....why would anyone in their right mind want to invest it that kind of market?
Something else going on here people.
Definitely something else is going on everyone keep your eyes out look through the distraction keep this in mind when everything else is over will look back and see what has changed

Well the crats failed miserably in a one sided impeachment attempt except making the USA look stupid in front of the world! Let's start a mass panic epidemic before elections!!! Just my honest opinion. I wonder if the gang bangers and illegal drug dealers adhere to the laws being implemented to help limit the spread of this covid19 illness. Wish CNN would report there findings on that subject to the world. Then present their findings on how they figured that controlling guns in the hands of law abiding citizens will curb violence.

I work for a well known restaurant supply chain. We were told, due to the restaurant closers, that we are on three day, schedules, just about part time schedule. It will be a week to week basis from this point forward.
My state has 57 cases, of the virus. If it rises to 80, the state will shut down.
Went to grocery store, out of everything! This is just the beginning, and we've all got some bumpy roads to ride over. It's scary out here boys and girls.
Hmm?m!

7stw, unfortunately, it's not "if" but "when" that number is reached. Latest county briefing stated they are expecting 80% of the population to get this in some form or another (mild symptoms to severe with life long lung damage). Despite that staggering number, expectation is still to have all employees come in. Work until you have symptoms! Which of course by then, it's too late, you've already spread your cooties and the cycle continues.o_O Tough balance between putting folks out of work trying to contain but, at this point, in my neck of the woods at least, it is a half-*** attempt at best. The poor decisions by local clerks not adhering to the recommendations of the President, WHO, State officials and County commissioners will have long term consequences. Tip of the hat to states and local authorities with the cojones to lead and take affirmative action.

Went to Walmart last night and couldn't believe it, not one gallon of milk left, not one can or pack of soup, all the canned vegetables were also gone. All the rice and beans and more, of course no toilet paper or water, just crazy.

People acting like its the apocalypse. Hofefully it doesn't get worse.
This is the whole problem that I have. I don't want to get caught up in this whole thing but when the rest of the country is acting like this you have to join in or you will be left out. Personnaly I'm not too worried about catching this virus and dying simply because I'm being cautious about it, but what I am worried about, is the panic of the people.
Here in Canada the whole school system is shut down across the whole country for the rest of the school year. I'm not sure about other provinces but In the province that I live in, what the students have for a mark as of now is their final mark for the year.

I went to a large local park this afternoon for a little speed walking. A week ago it was fairly empty. Today, with no one working anymore, it was packed. Hockey rink loaded with teenagers, dog park loaded with adults and dogs, walking trails loaded with people walking and cycling. EVERYONE was in close proximity to each other. I live right in the middle of a hot spot where new cases are doubling in number faster than I can fathom but far too many people refuse to follow the direction of the medical experts. It's going to get real bad real fast around here.
We will probably get a "stay-in-place" order very soon. Not sure how long it might last.

Not trying to be rude here but...... you're complaining that no one is following protocals and and staying home.....while you're doing the exact same thing

Not at all - I never said they should stay home and neither did the health experts, merely to not congregate together. I drove around in my car and left. I did my walking in a remote area where I saw almost no one.
"Social distancing" is what everyone has been told repeatedly.
