For sale is a custom 257 Ackley. Model 70 Winchester action, older HS precision stock, bedded. Believe trigger has been worked over, I'd say right at 3 lbs. Unknown barrel make, but shoots very well, contour similar to magnum sporter. Got good 10-shot group with Speer 100s at 100 yards while fire forming. Have a set of 257 Roberts and a set of 257 ackley dies to go with it. A few little rings but overall very solid condition.
bought this from an estate and don't see it getting used as much as it should. I think it has potential but it's the neglected child.
