Finally doing (re-doing) a build (new barrel/caliber). Looking to see if there is any thing new on the block.
Berger & Sierra were the go to's.
Really interested in giving Cutting Edge and Lehigh a run. Anything new I should keep my eyes on. Thanks.

Berger and Hammer bullets seem to take the cake. But for out to 1000 yards I still get ELD-M's in .3" groups with single digit SD's in my setups with very minimal load dev. Food for thought.

After being alerted, I noticed I goofed on my groups posted, what I meant was .3 MOA to distance of 1000 yards.

Hornady has sort of surpassed Berger in my book at least for BCs. They're doing Doppler radar to confirm them and they're considerably cheaper. Also both the ELD-X and ELD-M have been formidable hunting. Something that i can't vouch for any berger bullet i've used. Before berger sold there were statements that they were going to come down in price and they're still 50 cents per pill across the board for most popular weight bullets. Idk 10 years ago i understood the commanded premium they had an edge on the market this day in age everyone is producing consistent projectiles lot to lot and many surpassing them in BCs. I wish JLK was still around i wanted to try them.

Sierra has some redesigned matchkings that look great. I just got 500 of the new 130gr SMKs to replace the 130gr Normas i ran out of. Though they're probably extremely similar and the BC is identical for the 6.5 130gr norma at .584 G1.

I like Bergers and Sierra for LR stuff.

While I LOVE Hammers accuracy, I have personally found their BCs to be a bit inflated. in 6mm, 6.5mm, and 7mm. But they are very accurate, even at distance. Just need to shoot for actual drops and adjust accordingly. Even Steve admitted to them "throwing out the parachute" at distance. They make a wicked vapor trail though!
