Winchester new 6.5 ball

has anyone used it yet? it is available and I am having a very hard time finding any H4350

Trying it in my 22-250 right now... initial load workup I have hit 4050+ fps with a 50gr ballistic tip while searching for top end pressure.. still didn't see any signs of pressure with 1gr above recommended max load and compressed (I'm sure I'm pushing above max pressure so I'm gonna back it off) no flattened primers, no stretched primer pockets, or stretching of the case head...

Most promising load accuracy wise and sd/es wise (sd of 9fps) was about 1 gr below max and just under 4000 fps

My former load was with h380 and would pressure out around 3850...

Looks good so far, loading up some more test loads this weekend to try out...

LOL! I just asked the same question............. I should have it next Monday and will start load development with 140 gr VLD and 143 gr ELD-X

Thanks for the information I just bought a pound. This will be my first reentry to rifle reloading in over 25 years I am looking forward to it
