GOOD TRIGGER WEIGHT FOR A HUNTING RIFLE?

LRH rifle I run a 2-stage with an 8oz 2nd stage break. For my brush rifle I still have a 2-stage with a 10oz 2nd stage. My revolvers run right around 12oz.
With all due respect if you can't control your impulse to shoot run whatever weight makes you safe.

I hunt thick, dense timber. Threading shots is there norm. My triggers are light because taking a whole second to make a squeeze is a missed opportunity. Also helps with jerking the trigger.
1.5# triggers for me ( jewel, TT, Timney).
