Harbor Freight Bench - $69

Just saw this in email and might be nice bench to start loading on if you don't have anything so far.

I recently learned the hard way not to order anything online from harbor freight without first putting my hands on it to check it out. There lots of stuff I've bought from there that works great and for a good price, but my wife bought me a bench top belt grinder for christmas and its complete garbage. Poorly designed and bogus down with slight pressure applied. So from now on I go see it in person first from that place

This is probably not sturdy enough. Best and probably cheapest whay to get a bench is to build it your self. Use a 2x4 frame and take a piece of 1/2" or thicker plywood and rip it down the middle making 2' wide pieces 8' long or if you want a square rip making two 4' pieces. Lay these pieces on top of one another which doubles the thickness and screw them down to your 2x4 frame. Or you can do like I did. Scrounge up two bathroom sink cabinets from a home remodel or cheap non finished at lumber supply. Place then on each end leaving room in the middle for you to get under the table top. I used the plywood 2' x 8' and attached 2x4's front and back and ends of the cabinets to support the plywood top and to give something solid to screw the top down to. This gives you storage space under the loading bench. I also added some sturdy shelves sitting on the bench top at each end to hold my bullets and loading dies etc. I got my cabinets from my own home during the remodeling process. Good luck.

That bench will be way too light. I built mine by taking a bunch of 2x6 boards and gluing and screwing them to each other. Then I built the legs with 2x4 boards. When I mounted my press I put a chunk of aluminum on top and bottom to stiffen things up even more. It is over-built but it does not even wiggle when sizing brass.
