Kill the wolf?

I have been pondering this statement the last couple days...maybe everybody could be happy if we took all the wolves in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming and dropped them off in texas and other Southern states that are being overtaken with wild pigs and coyotes. Can't help but think a 1000 wolves could put a hurtin on some pig populations. This way we save the elk and mule deer and wolf all while taking care of the feral pig problem...
I wish there were only 1000 wolves up here. I've heard and read of far more. There is NO way to count them with the terrain they can live in. Men can't go to 90% of the places those wolves go

Yeah, well 2000 or 3000 or 5000 or however many we have can be trucked down south to aid our brothers in the war on feral pigs:)

Imagine how many whiners there would be if rhe wolves starting eating their deer.......which would probably go first...easier to kill than pigs.......
Let's wait til I can afford my coues hunt before turning lose the wolves down south....

I hear all sides of this. If you listen to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the wolves are the epitome of a threat to the whole ecosystem. Western sheep and cattle ranchers will pretty much back that up. We must maintain a balance in the population, or we stand a chance to have another animal go extinct. That cannot happen. I seriously doubt the wolves in the west, will get to the problems caused by feral hogs and coyotes in Texas.
Says the man from Texas, Try living with them in Montana, you

Says the man from Texas, here in Montana we have seen the devastation caused by the wolf and the lies the federal government told us. It started with the number of wolves required until they could be managed, each time the number was reached, they moved the line. The special interest groups injunctions and ignorant judges facilitated the demise of the herds. This happened several times. Our elk herds have nose dived severely in western Montana along with the deer. But what you don't hear about very often is our Moose.
The moose population is very close to gone. The majority of the pathetic moose population in western Montana now reside on private property where the wolf is shot on sight.
Now the experts are reporting the wolves are helping spread CWD here in Montana.
You would not have a "serious doubt" if you knew all the facts.
We are to the point that it would be foolish for someone to spend the money on non-resident tags to hunt western Montana. Places that we have killed elk every year for decades now have little to no elk.
Colorado has excellent game herds so the idiots are now pushing on the ballot to introduce the wolves there. If done and you hunt Colorado, massive game herd population are on the horizon.

Hehehe, yea, not so sure bubba down here in the southeast would allow wolves in the mix. Rumor is, a few years ago, the gov decided to conduct a test with western Cougars in ga to see if there was enough land to support reintroduction of cougars in areas where the florida panther once lived. They collared 7 to 10, depending on your source, supposedly steril adult cougars and cut them loose in south central ga. Within 2 years they didnt have any signals to track. All but one was eventually accounted for with carcasses and only one guy got prosecuted because he bragged after throwing the radio collar from the one he shot in a storm drain. They introduced coyotes in ga to help control the deer/turkey population. Now they are one of only 3 animals in the state with no closed season and no illegal method of hunting, hogs ,coyotes, and armadillos..
I said it in a post a while back, if you dont want them around , kill them, and keep it to yourself. The wolves will get wise to it eventually and make themselves scarce . Gotta take things in your own hands sometimes.

"Wolf "packs" are actually families". NO. Wolf run in "packs". "Families" is a word exclusive to humans. Furthermore, "loan wolves" are not looking for "love". Again, this is reserved to human emotion. And...Mickey Mouse is not real, nor could he talk if he was.

"Wolves are critical to healthy ecosystems – we need wolves more than wolves need us!"

Do you suppose this clown is a hunter? Owns a gun? From Kalifornia...oh yeah.

Anti-hunting Doper? Yes.

Check your sources before you put there garbage in front of your friends.
