I have a Mod. 70 coyote in 25 wssm. I want to have it re-barreled in 6.5 prc. I live in north/east Indiana. Any suggestions

Would like to find someone close, but thats not cast in stone
Hill Country Rifles in New Braunfels, TX. A friend of mine had a new barrel put onto his M700 in .223Rem. Hill Country shoots the rifle after they do the work on it. My friend's rifle printed a .376" group. Be prepared to wait a while for the work to be done and the rifle sent back to you. Hill Country has a fabulous reputation and gun owners are well-aware of it...

The thing about the WSM cartridges is that they have a very large base-datum diameter. Your job may require a new barrel, or your present barrel cut forward until the diameter of the chamber can hug the 6.5PRC case nice and close. I can say this because I designed my own wildcat cartridge after learning that the .555" base-datum diameter is too big for a case with a .532" head. I had to have a new barrel made and installed to continue to use a stock that cost me $2300 in handwork to make it usable.

Short Action Customs is in Wellington, Ohio. Mark Gordon build some of the nicest sticks around. He has built several for me from hunting rifles to competition rifles and all of them are hammers.
I think the Wssm is built on an ultra short action. Not sure it would be long enough for prc
