Huge alfalfa field with woods on the edge,i was calling using my Icotec mid morning i took the 204 out to stretch its legs figuring some shots could be long.A female responded within 5 minutes to a baby robin distress call about 100 yrds i was resting my rifle over a hay bail,as i prepared to shoot she turned tail and was heading for the woods.I took the shot hurriedly at her fast disappearing hind end,24 grain Hornady NTX,caught her about 6 inches above her tail,DRT amazing, the damage was unbelievable. An hour later using the same call the male showed himself and i sent one through his neck at about 150 yds,DRT,i sure love that 204.
