I second @Nick@Straight-Jacket he has done 3 rifles and multiple barrels for me. He does excellent work and Nick and Tristen are great to work with and reasonable pricing with good turn around time

I had Charley Robertson, Score High Gunsmithing in Albuquerque put this Bartlein bbl on this Rem. 700 a couple of months ago. I had him true the action, relieve the stock channel to fit the much larger barrel, pillar-bed the action and thread the muzzle. I also specified (and got) the exact amount of free-bore I wanted. His work was excellent, as verified when I shot it. His prices seemed to be in line with other top 'smiths, and his turn-around was fine.

Best advice I can give you. No matter where you end up going. There are plenty of good smiths out there these days.
Choose your smith based on the work and reputation. We are all within 25-100$ of each other these days. So what I am getting at is you don't want to pick your smith because he was going to save you 20$, pick your smith based on your admiration for his work.

Now definitely shop the prices of the quality components, and shop your Smith for them also as they get better deals then you will and will make sure your getting the correct parts.
