Can anyone help me out and tell me what the value of a Ruger 77/17hmr with the boat paddle stock is? I'm considering selling it but have no clue what they are worth now. Blued barrel and I'd rate it about an 8.5/10 on it's overall condition. Scope not included.

I have the exact same rifle. I paid $675 for it at a gun show in similar condition about two years ago. Don't know if this helps or not, but I would price it for 750 and go from there. Good luck. If I didn't have one, I'd be all over it.

Thank you VERY much!

Come on, guys. maybe those prices are what you'd claim for insurance value.

If you are searching values under GB, you dont consider asking prices with no bids. Go to "completed auctions". Those rifles, even very nice ones, sell for low 500's. Last one like that in excellent shape was $510 at the end of september. Heavily used you'd be in the 400's.

Gotta agree. The subject rifle is pretty rough in my estimation. I'd be looking to get in the $400s unless you want to sit on it for a while.

For what its worth my experience has been that GB prices are always way above actual prices I see here in local gun shops. (CT) I passed on the same rifle in ss my local gs had for $450 it was clean , still kicking myself for not buying it but I already have a walnut 77-17. He also has a 7722 walnut nice shape for 475, I might have to snag that one. Good luck with the sale.

you are right; gunbroker is a national audience; all you need to do is find one guy in the entire country that needs your rifle. So realized prices are higher. (not counting all the crazy astronomical asking prices that never get a bid)
Blue Book valued
80%=$295
70%=$250
that's about what I would expect to see a local gun store offer to buy it: 200-250, sell it for 300-350.
