As I become more vintage, I find I like brighter lights with a focus beam when needed that tend toward the warm white color spectrum. Additional red light is a plus.
Any suggestions?

Black Diamond Revolt or Storm. I have them both. I use Lithium instead of the rechargeable batteries in the revolt and it is bright.

Milwaukee's new leds are a warmer color than most I've seen. Haven't tried their headlamps but have a m12 flashlight and a pen light and they rock.

I HGHLY recommend the nitecore hc30. For the price, weight, durability, brightness, battery life.... There is no comparison. The only downside is there is no red light and you need an external charger for the battery unless you get one of the batteries that has the USB port within the battery itself. Buy one of these, and I promise you won't be disappointed. I bought mine a few years ago after having several high prices Black Diamond headlamps crap out on me.

I don't expect to ever need to replace my nitecore!! Love it!
