For many years I have been using VV 24N41 ( slow burning ) in my 264 mag . It delivers a consistent 3222 fps with the 140 gr Nosler AB out of the 26" Bbl of my Win 70 EW. I thought the powder had been discontinued , but found it listed on Powder Valley. Shown at $209 ( $26.12 per lb ) for an 8lb jug. This powder is just a click slower burning than N570 & at a much lower price. Should also be very useful in the 26 Nosler. For what it's worth.

I also load with 24N41 in 264 with good results with 130 Hornady ELD's and 75.0gr. Velocity chronos at 3200fps. Interested in what you load with your 140's.

Best group 264 WM lately has been with Hornady 120gr ELD's, 0.005" off lands, 75.5gr 24N41 3200fps, Nosler brass. Groups 4 shot 0.5 MOA all day.

Also load 130gr Game Changers with 73.5gr 24N41, same 0.005" off lands, 0.5 MOA, also 3200fps..

Yes. 24N41 is a great powder for the .264. I have been using it for years. An over looked powder by many.

WOW! All I've ever used is imr4831 in 264wm in a pre'64. I figured you need a rum case or bigger for that powder. I might have it confused with 20n29? So, mid weight bullets is gtg, but how's it in 140gr and up?

Using 24N41 in my 264's ( 140gr ) 3229 fps out of a 26" bbl. No sign of over pressure & good case life. I usually shoot the Nosler 6.5 140gr AB bullet. I have been using this combo for at least 10 yrs now. Never a hint of problems. A slick load for me.
