Pricing for Rifle Scopes

I've sold and bought a few scopes recently as I changed my focus (pun intended).

In shopping for rifle scopes I found that I could always get a SIGNIFICANTLY better price on Gunbroker for some reason. This includes Nightforce but especially Leupold.

I don't understand why but it seems that everyone has the same prices most of the time but when you check Gunbroker that seems to go out the window and if you're willing to go through the bidding process then you can REALLY save.

I know that some people want you to call but I just don't have the time during the day when they're open and getting put on hold just doesn't work for me either. So I end up with online pricing.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I worry about fake scopes when buying from a non-known source. China makes some great looking leupy's . ....untill you need to send them in for warranty work.

Don't buy from anyone on GB that doesn't have hundreds or even thousands of good feedbacks. They couldn't afford the negative publicity.

I tend to trust sellers that have no control over their feedback rather than sellers that can hide feedback and screw a lot of people before the word finally gets out.

Scopes are cheaper on GB, are you talking about the same site ? in any case... I'd worry about buying the real deal and not some knock of china stuff. when it comes to original product then the pricing has to be same or a little off price.
