While the Nosler is an improvement over the belted cases, there is a simple elegance in the basic 375-Ruger-case cartridges. The 375 Ruger has a .532" casehead and produces cartridges that look like 30-06's, 270's, and 308's, only bigger and fatter.
If someone wants a 65-70 grain case capacity, then the .473" casehead is available, or a short version for 50-55 grains.
If someone wants 90-100 grain capacity, then the .532" casehead of the 375 Ruger is available.
And if someone wants 120-140 grain capacity, the Rigby .589" casehead is available.
They all look elegant in cartridges designed with a thought for balance and bore size.

the only thing the 375 Ruger/300 PRC case do interesting was eliminate the belt, about time anyway, belted cases need to get buried 6 ft deep so we can move on away from outdated, useless ancient tech
aside from that, no improvement is made over superior case designs like the 28 Nosler and 300 Norma... of which the 300 Norma rules

7-300 PRC surpasses the 28 Nosler. Also, I like the belted cartridges. They have class, unlike rebated rim rubbish. Plus, I never seen where the belt was detrimental to accuracy or velocity.
I do like what the .300 Norma offers, but I also like the .300 PRC which isn't that far behind the Norma.

In .375, the belt has the advantage of affording the user the opportunity of using either .375 H & H ammunition or 375 Weatherby ammunition. This is a significant advantage in Affrica.

I am in the process of building my brother a 375/358 RUM. it should be a horse.
Brass is now becoming more available, and sizing the 375 cases down, is straight forward.

FWIW - We knock on the door of the 358 NM ballistic-ally with the 358 WSM even when using shorter barrels. The rifle I used a few times this year (18" barrel) shoots 250s in the 2650FPS range. We make pretty much any caliber and they all head space off of 300 WSM gauges.
The 375 WSM has very similar ballistics to 375 Ruger Factory ammo and we will be releasing it soon. I will be honest, 375 Ruger has greater case capacity and am sure you could load it to be a bit more powerful than ours.
We are updating our site but 358 ammo has dropped significantly. Can use 325 brass and hope to have work finished with Bertram to have properly heads stamped brass this summer. Of course anyone can opt for custom CNC'd brass from us. It's awesome but not cheap to make.

I am also a fan of belted mags. Never had any issues with accuracy and achieving blazing fast speeds.
The 300 PRC is close to the 300 Norma Mag but big difference is there's a lot of room to improve the Norma Mag case. Push the Norma Mag shoulder from 23 degrees out to 35 degrees or more, then straighten out the steep taper in the body and you've gained 7-10gr in useable case capacity. With the PRC/Ruger case, there's not much to gain with improvements because it already has a straightened body and a 30 degree shoulder. When you improve the Norma Mag case, its velocity leaves the 300 PRC and Nosler cases in the dust.
