CB, I will start the show. Friday was opening day in MI and killed nice 9 pt with slug gun. SW MI State land buck. Hammerhead 1 1/4 oz slug I reloaded to 1450 fps and hit like freight train. 870 with heavy Hastings barrel and Timney trigger. Shoots one holers at 50 yards all day. 55 yd shot and short snowplowing before done. I wish I had a video of me trying to do selfie balancing phone on backpack. 10 seconds seems like a lot of time until you are trying to get behind a deer! Holy cow, it was funny, bet it took 15 pics before I got one that wasn't hilarious. I get the slugs here. http://slugsrus.com/12-GA-SPW.html

Since I have a lifetime license in Indiana, I went there for today's opening day and it went EXTREMELY well! Big 8, 250 yd shot with Sendero 300WM 200gr AB that is my elk setup but still use for LR since it just shoots so fine. Perfect over heart lower lung hit. Dang are they tough, he still went 70 yards leaving a blood trail that Stevie Wonder could follow in cut corn.
