What does your rifle weigh?

Due to the discussion of rifle weights on other threads, I was curious. What does your primary elk rifle weigh? This weight is including optic, sling and a full magazine. I'm trying to gain an understanding of what people think is light/heavy.

Next year my elk rifle may be replaced by a 7 1/2 pound six lug Mark V in 8mm or .338" on the RPM case.

Like every thing else I have options. My carry gun (30-06) wieghs in just less than 7lbs but the truck gun (338edge) has an 8lb barrel

Given all the different habitats elk inhabit. The do it all one rifle solution strikes me as inadequate.

Mine is just under 9 ready to hunt so close enough. It has enough pop as is I wouldn't want much lighter.

I'm at 9 give or take an ounce. In a 300 win mag I know I dont want to go any lighter.

That's why I have 2. But my light gun gets the most use. Swinging a 16lb chassis rifle in the timber is less than ideal.
