I have three Manners stocks. I'm not sure exactly what feature on your stock you are wanting to compare. Can you be specific?

It would be the lines, just seems like they would remove them.
They can't remove them. The stock is made in two halves and glued together. There has to be a line where the two halves are joined. If they are a raised ridge, they can be sanded smooth. They normally are sanded smooth by Manners. The only way to make them disappear is to paint over them.

I have three manners stocks. Two carbon and one regular. They all have the seam.

I believe they bill many of their finishes that aren't fully spray painted as field grade finishes for this reason. The stock is made in two pieces, unless you paint over it you will see the seam. It doesn't bother me, but YMMV. If it's an issue just ask them if you can pay to have it painted a solid color

They say the following on their fiberglass stocks, I believe it applies to carbon much the same.

"Our Molded in finish is considered a Field-Grade finish. What this means is that small imperfections may be visible in the finish such as mold lines, sanding marks and fiberglass cloth."
