I used the Nightforce program for year and had drop chats on my rifle stock. Now my old laptop crashed and I have nothing. Im tinkering with 2 new builds and have nothing to go by. What is everyone using now? I have not been the best technology person but with in the last year went from a flip phone to an I-Phone.

Yep, I also have a kestrel that has a ballistic calculator and the Sig Kilo 2400 Ranger finder (an all in one). Have one of these in the field and my phone app (Ballistics AE) as a backup, as well as a printed card...oh and tape with drops to 500-600 on my scope turret.:D

Another Ballistic AE user here. Also like Shooter which is kinda the predecessor to BAE.
Both apps are fairly easy to use and have similar look and feel.
Shooter allows you to backup your rifle profiles to a web server and restore it if you have too for some reason. I WISH BAE WOULD START DOING THIS!!! If they are listing.

I'm tech illiterate. In fact, I'm about as tech illiterate as you can be and still function in today's world. That being said, I bought the Shooter app, and really like it.

i use the shooter app but also have a kestrel with applied ballistics and a gunwerks g7 br2 rangefinder

I have ballistics ae, shooter, ballistic arc, Hornady app, and Applied Ballistics. I like the AB app and shooter. Strelock pro is good too, but I don't have it, just used it with friends.

just get the kestrel 5700

I have Applied Ballistics, Kestrel (AB) app, and KAC Bullet Flight on my phone. The Kestrel 5700 is my go to in the field, I memorize basic ballistics to 300 and figure anything past that I'm probably going to pass on if I don't have tech help:cool:
