Yeah they can do that in faster twists. 1-12 to 1-14 should be ok though. Noslers will get there fine. About 240000 rpm is their limit but some get away with more.

Yep they regularly knock over game at 400 yards for me. Great pill!

The 50gr TNT is designed for 223 velocities.

The 55gr TNT is designed for the 22-250 and .220 Swift velocities.

I shoot the 55gr TNT in my 22-250s and my .220 Swift - they never explode until they hit the beasties... then they shatter.

the TNT bullets are often overlooked in many calibers -- love the 90 tnt for the .277 option--- I have never shot a TNT that I couldn't find an accurate load for--and-- they can be bought in bulk--- anywhere from 500-1000 packs depending on caliber

what is also often overlooked is that even though the tnt is designed for "varmints" --when they are used in "slower" cartridges they can be used up to mid sized game as they don't blow up as rapidly and will retain some weight for penetration
