Cigars and shooting

I like many different cigars but I stay away from Cuban. I find them bitter but it may be because I can't afford the really good ones. Once when I was smoking a long Cuban I became so dizzy I had to shut down the loader I was running and I passed out over the wheel for thirty seconds or so. Last time I ever smoked one of those.

I smoke the 3 I posted about 98% of the time. I seldom switch brands?
Once in awhile I like a Diamond Crown Maximus or a Habana Partagus
but I ration my Cubans...You know guys in other country's will trade Cubans for our GREAT Kentucky Bourbon? They will!

Back before I retired my clients in Canada would ask me to drop by a few times a year. A fine couple days with great food, whiskey and cigars. They would always hand me a few Cubans as I was leaving.

Drew Estate ACID, take your pick, they're all pretty good. I prefer the Blondies for a short trip or a 1400cc if I've got a long range session ahead of me.

If you like a really full bodied great tasting cigar check out the Pistoff Kristoff. It's the only cigar that has ever given me a buzz. Great tasting cigar.

I haven't tried that one but the Bahia Gold knocked me on my butt once.

CAO La Traviata Robusto - hard to beat for $5.50 a stick
Padron 1964 A Series for post hunt celebratory smoke
Padron 80th Anniversary for truly special occasions

I have a humidor locker at the rifle range I'm a member of and keep the La Traviata and a few of the 1964's there. The 80th Anniversaries stay in the humidor at the house to be enjoyed with a nice bottle of wine or glass of bourbon.

I try to keep a few aging..
