Matrix Bullets

Still can't be shipped to US without import license. I have a buddy who loves to Canada and started using them. He said they are a an attempted copy of Berger's.

They have a less aggressive ogive than a Berger. They work well on game.

Not a copy, an alternative. Matrix bullets have always shot better for me than a comparable Berger when one is available. The difference is that Matrix was making high BC, heavy bullets in 6.5, .277 and .284 before Berger was.

I'm just waiting for the import issues to get resolved. I need to order 1000 of the 7mm 168gr bullets for a 7mm SAUM. The 168 Berger's shoot 5 shot groups in the mid .2's, the 168 Matrix is in the high .1's.

I may have jump the gun about being in the us now. The site says still in Canada.

Yup. Been using them for over ten years now. For many a year, they (and Wildcat bullets) were the only game in town when it came to heavy-for-caliber bullets.

I believe the OP is referring to the rumors a while back that Matrix was sold to a US owner. I also have been waiting to hear any real information on this rumor.

I got the info from the previous owner then got a email from new owner that I could get them. I have sent a email to the new owner to find out what is going on for sure. I will respond when they respond.

Sounds good. Thank you.

It would be nice, whoever the owner is, if they were a member here and would put some information up for us. It was nice when Marshal was the owner and member here.
