I have a Savage Tactical .308 which i've recently installed a 10X SS scope on. This past weekend I had a chance to get out and really stretch out my shots, I shot at targets ranging between 200 and 750 yards. My friend had his rifle over and I noticed that he didn't have to make as many scope adjustments at the longer distant targets. He explained he had a 25moa scope base on his rifle. He to is shooting a .308 and I figured I would check into getting on of these bases. Can someone recommend this base or not? Also I understand that having one installed that your zero should start near 200yds. If i'm only keeping my shots between 100 to 800yds do I even need one?

The Super Sniper Scope has a lot of adjustment already built into the scope. You should be fine out to 800 yards with your current set-up. If you plan on shooting long range then a 25 MOA base would be helpful, but you might not be able to zero in at 100 yards.

I have a Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x40 and it has 50MOA ov adjustment, with a 20MOA TPS base I am able to get a 100yard zero but it is at the bottom of the turret. Mine is on a 300WM with 180NAB at 3100FPS though....
