I use the 168 berger vld's in my 7mm wsm lr rifle. Have killed lots of game, including a monster eland at 568 yds. Would rather use barnes on extreme raking shots or through heavy bones.

I shoot them with boring accuracy using 69.5 H1000 and CCI 250 primers out of Norma Brass. I'm getting 2995 FPS and an ES of 8. The ES climbs a little above 75-80 degrees.

I used a 168 grain in my Cooper .30-06 on a kudu at 330 years, it hit the shoulder blade and exploded shrapnel into the chest and heart. The kudu went 3 steps and collapsed

I have used reloaded 25 quite a bit when roadin Berger 168's. I was able to achieve sub Moa loads pretty easily. I can give you load specifics if you like.
Sure any advice & info is welcome. I bought some h1000 as well. My gun is shooting beyond my capabilities at 300 yards with factory ammo. I've used hsm w/168 vld's & federals 168 Berger hybrids.
