What size are they? What was your impression of them?

They are a large... I have big calves and they fit perfectly. We didn't have much snow when I was moose hunting in Canada. Only a couple of inches, so I didn't really get a chance to try them in deep snow. They are easy to put on and they are very quiet... even in the brush. I just don't need two pairs. DD 62
