Superformance Powder

While sighting my rifle in last week we all got to talking about the 6.5 cal and how well it has done and one person said he shoots Superformance in 6.5 creed as he gets much more velocity.I hope to have a 260 soon and am just thinking ahead.
I was just wondering if other bullet makers have load data for Superformance powder because the only loads I see is in the Hornady reloading book for Hornady bullets.
Just curious,

Just keep in mind not to empty an off the shelf Superformance round and try to match that weight. What is in the OTS ammo is not the powder they are selling for reloading.

Superformance is not a normal extruded powder, it is spherical and not stick shaped like traditional powder. The pressure curve is different and that's why it acts different. Because of this Hornady, the drive behind it, is probably the only published data around. I always stayed away for that reason.

There is a guy on savage shooters that did a bunch of pressure testing with it but I won't get into that. @Darkker may chime in.

I use it for my 6.5CM with 123gr SST's. I get ~2950fps in a 22" A-Bolt II with very good accuracy results. I've read that there are some potential issues with velocity variations due to a secondary ignition possibility but I've never personally experienced that. I've tried it in a couple different bullet types/weights but it didn't do as well as some of the other well known powders for those particular combinations. I do plan on trying it with some AB/BT in 140gr to compare with what I'm getting with RL26 but that will be after hunting season when I can fool around a bit more.

I use it in my 25 wssm. Fill density is fantastic and it seems to really be a linear powder for how oddly shaped it is. I did try it on a 375 rum with average results.

I use in my 22-250. You get great velocity and accuracy. It also throws so well I don't weigh those charges.
