Yes, most definitely the best deer meat I ever ate. There are people in the hill country who have access to these animals 24/7, never buy any beef. They even make hamburgers with the ground meat. As these are exotics, they can shoot them with anything, 24 hours a day. One man I know, that lives in Bandera city limits, has shoot them in his backyard, ate night, with a 22 rifle. One shot in the head at 20 yards and they just fold up.
