Savage 12 BVSS rebuild

Well, I'm started. I ordered the MDT ESS XL....Probably get the V5 Skeleton buttstock next....or should I get the Magpul PRS?? ...the Magpul would save me $100...

I have a prs on my LSS XL. I think it's fine, especially if it saves you 100 bucks.

How is the balance? What is overall rifle weight?

It's probably not the best rifle to use as a comparison, Its a Savage 110 in with a 30" medium palma barrel. I also installed MDT's Adjustable PRS butt plate on it. I intend to shoot it prone and with a sling. I haven't decided on an optic or rings yet (it has a Murphy precision steel mount) so balance and weight will probably change quite a bit.
Its a gen 1 PRS, but the adjustability and the weight work well for my intentions. I think your barrel weight and length may have to be considered when you make your choice.

Well, when you include the buffer tube, it is near even, so I went MDT. Also, I ordered the FS chassis...
