260 Rem shoulder bump die

Do I need a 260 Rem specific die or could I use a 308 Win die to do this. Would the 308 die not work because of the gap at the junction of the shoulder and neck? Seems like it may cause a step in the shoulder. I currently just have a 260 collet die that neck sizes. I have full length 308 dies.

I would imagine you could bump the shoulder back with a .308 body die without issue. Same dimension and shoulder angle. My 260 rem body die has a .300 neck my 308 win body die has a .350 neck other than that they're identical.

I'd say give it a try with the .308 body die. Let us know if this works. It will be nice to know.
