Bipod question

Better construction, design, lighter weight,more adjustability, easier to attach/remove, more durability.....need I say more?

Mind if I ask for thoughts about the Swagger vs the above players?

Got one Harris left and about 12 atlas bipod. My main reason for going with the atlas is I always seem to have a hard time loading up on Harris like I can on atlas. The atlas has just enough play to let u load up on it. Shooting in dirt and what not with an atlas with claw feet allows u to firmly load bipod and for the most part it stays in place. Both are great bipods as long as the Harris is swivel model with notched legs and pod lock.

Both are excellent.

Harris is a little clunky especially if you keep it attached to your rifle.

Atlas is a little bit slower to engage but if 2-3 seconds is too much time then you probably shouldn't be taking the shot anyway in a hunting scenario. Rushed shots are vary rarely a good thing to do.

I have an old Harris and it works fine for that rifle. I decided to go with the Atlas for my LR set up because of versatility. It is so easy to change the feet for whatever conditions you are in. Then if you need some more height just add the leg extensions. Yes it's more money and the accessories add up but the advantages are worth it to me. Like I said my Harris is old , easily 25-30 years old, so it's hard to put on and there is no pan/tilt. My biggest issue with it is if I have to move the rifle and I pull back or twist/pan without taking all the weight off the bipod one or both legs will fold up. That's a hard no in a hunting situation for me. But it's all a personal preference.

Is you're gonna pay the $ for an atlas look at the MDT CYKE. I got that over atlas and I also have Harris.

You can eleaveate that load problem by putting better feet on that Harris bi pod., l use spike, no problem at all.

Yeah I tried them also on the Harris. Just preference now I guess. Thanks brother

Ha ha ha! There is a reason they use them, they are issued! We are the same way, we also break them quite regularly. They do have a good warranty and replace them. I use them a lot (also spiked feet) and they are decent.

Since I get mine from eBay, I don't know, and don't care. Mine work GREAT!
