Indeed, very nice! 6.7 lbs, even nicer for climbing steeps and over fallen trees. And if it's only for 500 yards, you can put a lighter scope on it. No reason for a 30x 40 oz scope unless you prefer one.
What MV are you expecting to get out of this? I like the compact rig. I'm getting ready to build a 6.5 PRC for Coues deer hunting in AZ. I just finished a 300 PRC.
Should be 2900+. 3k if I go H4350. That's the 147's
