My new 6.5prc shorty

DMR.LLC just sent me these final pics of my 1st custom build! This will be my go-to mid-sized animal rifle. They say it's weighing in at 6.75lbs.

Thought I'd share. Might not be a big deal to most but it's a big deal to me. Wanted to go shorter but 20" is minimum according to Tbac while using my Ultra 7. I appreciate everyone responding to all my stupid questions the last few months!

I'm leaning towards the NF 4-32x50 but haven't completely decided

congrats thats truly a beautiful rifle, id go with leupold VX6 to keep the weight down, dont go adding a 3 pound scope to that beauty

March F, 3-24x42? Love mine. Going on my very similar build when it comes back from getting the ejection port fixed.

The new NF 4x32 is 29 oz's. V6 is right at 21 oz. Almost twice the scope power with the NF. My vote goes to the NF, IMHO the ultimate LR hunting scope.

I am very happy with my nx8 4-32x50! The parallax needs regular adj just like a March, however it's not as sensitive has a more forgiving eye box, and much better reticles for target use. It's still usable on 4x as a plex but on higher mag it's great for precision work, I have mil-c. You'll be very happy with it.

Nice. I have 22" proof 6.5 PRC I am setting up with a ultra 7. I have 20" lightweight creed I use with the ultra as well. Proof shorties are nice looking barrels.
