I haven't yet but Rhett Crider and I bought some 156 Bergers. We'll see if we can get them to work in a 1 in 8 twist.

I started out with the Starline SRP new brass in a AR-10 with RL16 win SRP. I shot loads of 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, gr and went from 2400 to 2890 fps I showed pressure at 44gr. I found my sweet spot at 42.5 gr sub moa, not bad for a Diamond Back. Did I say it was with all 143 gr ELD-x's
I agree, let the rifle tell you what it prefers. Mine prefers Hornaday 137 ELD Match over H1000. Did not like Rotumbo or H4350 as well. It will take some time and $'s to get your weapons preference to reveal itself.

Sorry for the late reply! It's just an old hand held Sinclair. It has no reference marks so I have to feeler gauge it when changing calibers and keep records! I've torn up a few cases of various calibers getting the settings, but I cant' argue with the price (free, given to me by a friend some years back). From what I see of a buddy who uses a KM turner, I think it's a great choice!

Yer Hells Canyon Long Range has a 1:7 twist (one rotation faster than the standard 1:8 for the 6.5 CM) because Browning designed it for Long Range, as its name and 26" barrel indicates.
Therefore it is meant to use heavier 6.5 mm bullets from 140 grain up. They won't shoot quite as flat as say 120 or 130 grain bullets but they will stay supersonic longer and have more energy at longer distances.
Generally 4320 powder is the most temperature insensitive powder for 6.5 CM cartridges so I would start with it for more consistent velocities at all tolerable temperatures. i.e You likely won't be hunting in 100+ F. temperatures or -40 F. temps but all those temperatures between these extremes will be OK with that powder.
(Remember, colder temps = denser air and lower hits, hot air = thinner air density and higher hits, all else being equal such as humidity.)

Brass from four manufacturers Lapua, Alpha Munitions, Peterson, and Starline. Lapua and Alpha Munitions are in the same class for the cost, Peterson a little more costly than for Starline which is the best buy and all come in S/P better than L/P they S/P last longer. I have three rifles in 6.5 CM where two don't like H-4350 but likes RL-16/17, and the one rifle likes all three powders. It all depends on your rifle bore, the barrel. I reload using 130 grains in bullets be it Hornady or Berger bullets.

Much too heavy to me for the 6.5 CM but other 6.5 cartridges, it will do fine. I like speed; 300 Weatherby Magnum.
I'm going to have to disagree with this bullet is too heavy for a creed.
Berger's load data shows over 2800fps with both rl26 and n560... and that's at only 2.8 oacl
I see lots of guys running their prc at 2850-2900 with the same bullet
