Forgive my ignorance, what is a .300 LRH?

300 Long Range Hunter. It's a wildcat cartridge. The guy that came up with them also has 7mm LRH, 8mm LRH, 338 LRH, and 375 LRH In addition to the 300 LRH.

I have a lowly 28" .300RUM. I push the 230 Hybrid @ 3113fps over Retumbo. Might not be the fastest, but it is very accurate and HAMMERS elk.

I've been thinking allot about a 300 RUM lately...
They ok in a 26" to start with?

What about a 30-378 weatherby? I believe it's the fastest factory 30 cal. And weatherby makes some mighty fine brass.

That said, I'd take the rum and add a wyatt's box so you can load over 3.9".
The flip side is how much speed can the bullets handle? Seems like most bullets get strange after 3K.

Actually Weatherby brass is too soft. I had a .30-378 and rechambered it. If Wby would make brass as tough as Lapua they would sell it by the truck load. I would avoid the .30-378 and use something based on Lapua or Norma brass.

You can buy Norma headstamp 30-378 Wby. brass
Norma makes Weatherby brass and says its the same:

Or is the only difference the head stamping?

Have the same treatment all the line down.
