Proof Carbon Remage barrels

I am looking at rebarreling a Remington 700 in 6.5 creedmore. My question is, what luck have y'all had using the proof carbon remage barrel. I have used several of the criterion barrels and had good luck but I really want to go carbon on this one. Any input on accuracy or other brands to look at would be greatly appreciated.

Not 700 experience but have done about 4 prefits proof CF on big horns and just did 1 on a RPR and all of them shot well under moa. No complaints at all!

Do they make a carbon fiber?

How about carbon six? They are on price point with proof.

I know it's not a remage, but I have a savage prefit by proof in cf in 300wm. It shoots about .25-.3 moa without even being broken in yet. (17 rounds I think) It is on a Bighorn TL3 that hasn't even been bedded to the stock yet! It was a bit expensive for a prefit, but I couldn't be happier with the accuracy and looks of it. This is with Berger's line of factory ammo. (215 gr) Very consistent. Nosler 190gr ABLR was about .5 moa.

I have headspace gauges, a 6.5CM reamer and a lathe, so am not overly concerned. If push comes to shove, I can set the shoulder back and face the barrel tennon to account for any excessive or generous headspace. In the other direction, I have a reamer, so pushing the chamber slightly deeper isn't an issue either.

For me, the big thing is cutting threads (I suck at it). Everything else (with a little bit of set up work) I can resolve if it doesn't fit right.

One of these weekends I need to just park my *** in front of the lathe and practice cutting threads until I'm comfortable and proficient with it.

Carbon Six did offer to install it on the action and check it for something like $60 (IIRC), but, living in California, and them being in Louisiana, doesn't encourage me to take them up on the offer (especially given that I have the tooling I need to do the job, if needed).
