Lets Discuss “Range Etiquette” for a moment!

He's already said he was an ahole. You're miscondtrueing the point, it's not ammo burning time with the ignorant masses. It's focused, attention demanding liaf lia time. Not kumbyah time with trigger pullers.
Besides us more 'mature' folks are entitled to be aholes, we've survived the idiots and would like to continue doing so!
I am glad you think you are more mature than me.

My point you go a public range when busy don't whine. Don't expect the world to change for you. Cause that sounds like something a kid would want sonny.

Pull the stick out of your bum. You are not as important as you think you are.

Get up early, if that is the slow time. Or weekdays. Sure don't go there Saturday afternoon and complain you can't play sniper or olypic shooter.

I get it people suck.

I suggest you city boys get out of the city, if you don't like people, cause that is where people are. Don't be shocked people, are shooting at range.

You are no more important than the other guy who plopped his money down.

Maybe you need to make effort and join private club.

Put a portable bench in your sedan and go out in woods.

It's a private range requiring a membership that remmy 700 is talking about. There's normally rules and people on the same page about what to expect when attending a private range.

Like at my range there's no bump firing or fast fire. It's a silly rule because how do you determine who's firing fast? My range has 1 trigger pull every 2 seconds. What do I do then pull out my stop watch and time someone? Lol

Like I said earlier my range has great people 99% of the time. But those 1% folk I can definitely equate to what remmy is talking about!

If you want to be good at what you do, you have to be able to do it well all the time.

If you can't handle a distraction, you are not as good as you think you are. Not saying not better than me

Jerks messing with MY target, either shooting at it, removing it or patching it without asking first. Yep, I've had all three happen and it grinds my fricken gears man!
Had that happen too. During load development I always setup about 10-20 individual 2" targets stacked in rows of 5, on a solid white backdrop. Every lane has an obvious section of backboard. One day, I started seeing holes on targets I hadn't shot yet... Turns out the ******* next to me had started shooting my targets. Then when I looked at him, and said, "Are you shooting my targets...?" He just said, "Oh, I thought those were for anybody to shoot at..."

People are retarded, and that's why I hate most people.

I'm very similar but because I don't get angry because of poor etiquette doesn't mean the next

2 things. Maybe they don't agree with him. Maybe he should find a range with people like him. I doubt Arnold trained at the Y.

Second, a holes rarely educate people unless they got a big enough stick to really hurt them.

You could make an effort if there is meetings to discuss. Maybe purpose times for wannabe Olympic shooters.

Purpose Tuesday nights as quite time at the range.

But if they don't agree with you, than suck it up, work around or move on.

You are a member not an owner. Kids need to realize not everyone is manager.

Fin a range where members are like minded. Everyone plops there money down, and is just as important as you.

Do pros shoot on Saturday at the city range? Probably not.

You wanna be rich, hang out with rich people.

I agree. I don't shoot at ranges. But one member is not more important than another. Find a place with like mind shooters, go when slow, shoot in woods.

I just hope no one is complaining about weekend afternoons at the range. Even for city boys there must be a slow time.

Slow time is any day but a weekend. Lol

I went one Friday afternoon during my lunch break at work and it was eerie having a giant range all to myself. Peaceful but still strange.

These same fools will be asking next week, "how to properly mount a scope"!

yeah man same dudes will be posing up next week " I got $300 bucks to spend on best Budget optic for my ruger American so I can shoot 2k with it, what is your opinion?" Lol oh and I want to shoot factory ammo!

My last scope was over $3000 and you would be hard pressed to find any post with me asking for yawl's help.

And well I guess if it was a private range, I guess they paid their money and have just as much right as you to it.

I am usually easy going at Range and will talk to anyone and have helped many as much as I can. But nothing chaps my hide more then the guy who pulls up at the next bench to me and starts blowing off 100 Rd strings between breaks and about 10-15 of those Rds are scattered all over my Target. Plus his brass is hitting me and my Rifle/Scope. Hard to bite the tongue at that moment.

First, this guy acts like everyone should know he is developing a Load. Majority of shooters don't craft their own ammo, so they don't know. They may just think you are OCD. Pretty sure most ppl figure out what you are fairly fast. Not surprised that the Usual Suspects here would agree with his OP. Probably should find a place in the sticks to shoot at. Private Ranges have other ppl that may ask questions, chit chat, communicate. You know, Human things.
