Anyone upgraded to V3? Thinking about upgrading but only the electronics for the bluetooth capabilities. I have the Area 419 machined upgrades and from looking at the new items Adam has put out the 3D printed adjustable base is not as nice as 419. I do however like the new design of the autothrow housing. I still don't think the juice is worth the squeeze to upgrade it. Interested in other thoughts/pros/cons.

Got my shipping notice for the new electronics last week. Downloaded the app tonight. I'm waiting to see. My only complaint on the autotrickler (with 419 upgrades) was the inability to enter a charge weight. Hopefully the new electronics will be easy to install and work, and will solve that drawback. If so, my charge master may need to go up on the FS board.

Just ordered the BT upgrade for the auto trickler...can't wait. No more manually loading the first one for a desired charge weight, and changes in charge weight for load development should be much, mush easier.

Got my upgraded electronics yesterday or the day before. Super simple to change them out; looks like he went from using a couple Arduino Nano boards plus something else, to one dedicated board + an add-on for the BT capability - just a guess, though.

Phone (Samsung S9) connected right to it, plugged in '43.40', the screen displayed '43.4', and the scale+thrower+trickler went right to '43.40'. Punch in a new number, say '43.6' and hit enter, and away you go. Pretty much that easy.

got my electronics upgrade a couple days ago. I agree with milanuk, the install was super simple. I loaded up 20 rounds tonight for a 10 step velocity ladder. Setting and changing the charge weight was EASY. The app and the bluetooth controller make the auto trickler even sweeter than it was previously.

Glad to hear...looking forward to getting mine.

I guess I need to ditch my prehistoric stuff and get me one! Ugh, reloading cost so much!! Lol I Prethrow with chargemaster lite and trickle up with dandy! This will speed it up great deal. Would have it already but the previous models look like PIA to do load work up with.

I have a question for you guys. I just bought the 120i and I will use my CHarge master lite to throw a close charge then trickle in with my RCBS hand trickler. I'm planning on buying the v3 system in a couple months. Does it come with everything you need I.e. the new powder trickler? I see the stands and motor and powder drop and it says auto trickler but I don't want to assume anything. The question being if I already have the scale is it just plug and play, download the app and your in business? Thanks

you can buy parts, smaller kits, or the full kit including the scale. When I bought the v2, I bought the full kit, including the scale. With that it came plug and play. Then I bought the Area 419 add ons and replaced those parts myself. Then when the new electronics were released I bought just the electronics package. I don't know if there is programming for the 120 that is necessary beyond just installing the plugs circuit boards or not. The owner was pretty responsive when I sent some questions via facebook. I recommend you ask him what he recommends for parts or kits based on what you already have.

From the info posted you'll need the "V3 AutoTrickler & AutoThrow for A&D"-Price on webpage was $490.00. Should be a fairly easy install on the electronics. I did find a video on youtube that showed the install of the bluethooth upgrade. Everything else should be plug/play. The instructions that accompanied my unit was straight forward.
