30 sherman magnum

I shot 75.5 grains of R26 today behind a 225eldm and it was to hot with a suppressor. Don't know what the velocity was. 75 was good though.
Hmmm? 78 grains behind a 215 was fine in mine. I figured I could shoot 79 or so but haven't tried it yet. You wouldn't think 75.5 would be too heavy but the 225 has more bearing surface by a fair amount.

My 230 Hybrids came in today so I ran out and tried them at 200 yards with my 83 grain load of N570 that worked well with the OTM's. I also juiced up one with 85 grains to see how much margin I had at (83 grains. The 85 grain load clocked a smokin' 3166' and didn't really seem to be too hot! Must have been close at that speed. If the Atips don't work out (when they get here) the 230 Hybrids are looking pretty good.

For those who don't do Facebook, this was a temp sensitivity test on my chosen N570 load from last week's ladder test.
Shots 1and 2 powder temp 70 degrees. Shots 3 and 4 powder temp was 35 degrees. Last week this load clocked 3124' in the ladder test. Needless to say, I'm impressed with N570!!
Also fired 2 shots at 100 and 2 at 735 while I was there. My wind doping was off some but the load is impressive AND stable

3124fps, betting that was meant to say 3024fps?
