Are carbon wrapped barrels really worth the extra $$ ?

You might want to get to know BR shooters as they are a bunch of decent guys. Even at the largest match in the country with money on the line, if you have a problem with your rifle they will lend theirs so you can shoot. I've lent mine and borrowed others when I needed to.

I've only shot SS barrels from the prominent makers and opted carbon for 3 reasons:

1. To test the hype myself
2. Weight
3. Because I can
