Here we are my best friend Iván, that is also member of this forum, with his Remington milspec 5r; and me with my Bergara HMR 6.5 creedmoor chambered.

We both love America, last two years we have spent our holidays in your country. And on September we are going to come again. Our dream is live in your country, and our pasion the long range shooting.

Welcome, my wife and I have been thinking about visiting Spain. My wife want to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. Me, for the wine and food, especially a good paella. Love you wine from Rioja and Catalunya especially the Tempranillo and Garnacha, I like the blends as well.

Saludos y ojala pronto puedan visitarnos

I live very close to the last part of the Camino de Santiago. You will love the food and wine even more than you think. I recommend you to visit us as soon as you can, you'll have a very nice holiday. We can recommend you some places and things to do.

PS: I love Texas and South Dakota, I'm mechanical engineer and I would love to work there. But if I can't, when I will be retired, it will be there for sure.

Well, a welcome to the both of you. I hope you can tolerate and maybe even enjoy our childish bickering, here on the website! What part of the country do you hope to relocate to? memtb

We both would like to live in U.S. but our favourite states are: Texas, North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Loussiana,,, But not in California! no firearms there!

But all your country is beautiful so I have not problems, would be a dream also California.

And answering your question, we are mechanical engineers. We work in Wind Energy industry, I work in VESTAS and Praire Dog is design engineer, he designs machines to our industry

I love Spain! I've been to Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, San Sebastian, Valencia, Leon, and Toledo. Beautiful country, rich history, and probably the best food I've ever had. Glad to see some shooters there. I can't wait to go back.

Glad to see some people still love this country.
I visited in Spain for just over a month when I was young. Two weeks in Barcelona and then spent 4 weeks in Minorca. Great place to visit. Other than you put tomatoes on everything. Lol
Well you are in the right profession to move here lots of jobs in that field.
Keep us posted when you come over next.

Well.....you've mentioned two of the states I've lived in. I was born and raised in Louisiana, and moved to Wyoming in 1985. Louisiana has great food, but limited long range shooting opportunities. Wyoming has much for long range shooting..... but limited for good food! :D memtb

In Wyoming, you have to shoot your own good food! :)

Maybe another question to ask is - do you like hot temperature or cold temperature? How about humidity ?

For me I like cooler temperature and low humidity. I use to live is South Dakota but not too many engineering jobs.
