Bill I'm using 130 Sciroccos over H4831SC. Shooting in the teens or low 2's if I do my job. Will check load data again and get back to you

My cousin and I both used the same load in our 6.5-284 1k benchrest rifles. 48.5 gr H4350 with Lapua brass, Fed Gold Medal Match primers, 140 gr Bergers. We were running 3000-3050 if I recall correctly. We had tight necks so we had to turn our case necks. My best groups at Williamsport 1k was 6.8". Gun was better than I was no doubt. Hart accurized Remington 700 with a Hart 28" stainless barrel. As always work up to this load with caution. Your gun may not like this load.

Go with your H1000 load. An ES under 30 is good to go. I'd play with primers and see if it makes a difference. BR2's and 210M's are always good. Always try for single digit ES, but sometimes you just can't get it.
I'm loading for my new 28" Krieger barrel. Thought I was done, and wanted to rezero at 200 yards and see how it grouped at 300. Well, I must of hit the break in spot of around 100 rounds down the barrel, because everything was now over pressure. I pulled out my Magnetto Speed and found the 4 different loads were running 60-80 fps faster than before.
Luckily 3 of the 4 were pretty quick to fix. Plugged in the new velocities into QuickLoad and had a pretty good idea what to drop the charges to. The only one that was still having issues was my Retumbo/Lapua brass/140 gr VLD. I switched to RL 23 and problem was solved. I have an ES of 4. Now I've got to tweak the seating depth to dial it in and snug up the group.
H4831, RL 23&26, and Retumbo have been the main powders I've used in my Norma. I torched my last barrel because I loved shooting it too much.
Below is a photo of the load using the 124 gr Hammer Hunter and RL23.

IMO, if your 800 yard performance is good, you are good to go! The 140 HVLD at 2975FPS is a well proven performer on medium game out to 1000 yards.

You can experiment forever. Gotta love Cal Zant's analytical articles on this and other subjects. Very interesting and often surprising statistically driven conclusions. Note that going from 10 to 3fps in SD only increases probability of a hit at 1000 yards by 1.4%!

H1000 is a great performer in my 7RM. Drives 168 VLDH and VLDCH with very low SD and .5MOA groups at 600 yards with varying breeze. Off topic, but a number of us have found RL26 to be quite a speed performer. +100fps in my 6.5CM. Have not had 1st hand experience with its temp stability though. These slow powders really do work well even in bullets that are not the heaviest for caliber. You might squeeze a little lower ES/SD by doing another round of tests, but if you read the article by Cal I posted above, you'll see it won't make that much of a difference in probability of hits.

When I still had my 6.5 x 284 I was using 140 berger hunters on hybrid 100v powder. i dont really remember the velocity and how much powder I was putting it it but I do know it shot really good for what it was.(savage 111 long range hunter) it might have been running a little slower that what your getting but it just worked. I think I was running remington primers. I never have noticed a big difference in primers so I just use what's available locally. But all this was done before I had a magnetospeed so even if I remember the velocity it wouldn't really mean much cuz my old chronograph wasn't reliable. Just got you in the ballpark.
