Alaska Sept hunt

I used MTO50 from Cabelas. Dont know if they still have it but it worked great and am still using it. Have fun and good luck.

I've spent a lot of time sheep and goat hunting Alaska. Although I've had great luck with Sitka I'm sure Kuiu is just as good or better. You can't go wrong with either! I also do quite a bit of fishing when I'm there. If I'm in a boat in a downpour I prefer Helly Henson...rubberized. I also do quite a bit of fly fishing on my trips. I often use Simms waders plus Marmot Precip jacket. If you don't want to spend a fortune on raingear I would highly recommend Marmot precip jackets and pants. They sell for around $50 each at Sierra Trading. They work just about the same as Sitka at a fraction of the price. Make sure that what ever jacket you buy has pitzips or you will get wet from the inside-out!

My buddy and used Sitka on are sheep hunts. Worked great! It was either raining or snowing everyday. It was the first week of September in the Alaskan mountain range.
