And lots of guys still using the target line, and the hybrids, with great success. Also lots of guys using Amax and ELDM. Just because it doesn't say hunting on the box, doesn't mean it doesn't kill well.

I've tested more than a few 147 & 180 ELD-M on Elk and deer, and I stand with 257 Tony.Cody has done quite a bit of testing with match bullets on game.
They straight up kill.
It's pretty hilarious to suggest that Bergers are designed for hunting and not some of the other "target bullets".
I've actually found Eld-m's more reliable than Bergers in multiple calibers, they're certainly stronger.

What break do they need to catch, the A-tip hasnt even been ran through the gament to see if the B.C is what they claim or tested on game.

Valid points, but then by the same logic, neither has the Berger 156 gr and it isn't out yet.
I am a fan of Berger bullets. I would just like to see something go their way for a change, instead of always being up against it.

I like them too but it's getting harder. I don't see what isn't going their way. They're charging more, selling more units, were bought by a company who should be able to fund expansion ... If they cannot figure out a way to meet demand I'll have to start looking elsewhere.

I, like others, have little compassion for Berger based on their choices made and their lack of process assessment and design. They went for the profit by the owners when they sold out to Nammo, they went for lower taxes and better treatment for property when they moved from CA to AZ. They didn't plan adequately for the move and the down time and the demand. They went for profit when they closed ABM ammunition and rebranded as Berger Ammunition which costs a bundle to accomplish. All along this trail, we have been told that production is catching up and wait 6 weeks, then 6 weeks, on and on until we've waited for a year to get bullets promise a year before that.
Then they released a product which Sierra beat them to the punch and had to withdraw and hopefully are redesigning.Where was logistics, where were the product planners, better yet, where was the management charged with keeping the place running in top form? Counting their profits?
I wonder how fast the popular 6.5saum (well its popular in some circles) would push these.
I was just thinking the other day that a 6.5/270wsm would be easy and a lot of fun. Heck, a fast twisted 264 mag would be fun with this bullet too.
