Wish I had more time to fiddle with these things cause it is fun to see good results... and the looks on most of the guys faces at the gun club when they see my targets. Post your results...

Do you shoot right-handed? What is your setup for shooting...are you off a bench...do you use bags or a sled? Do most of your groups look similar to this one i.e. is there one flyer like this one or do you get cloverleafs? Is the flyer a clean or cold bore shot? If that one flyer was grouped in the other two you would be golden. Just trying to figure out that flyer for you.

You got any sandbags...I make them out of the bottom of the legs of my old jeans. Try using sandbags...one for the front and one for the back. Often times a sled can contribute to misses or flyers. I was having some trouble with that years ago and a friend of mine from Taranaki NZ suggested that I go with sandbags and a firm grip on the fore end of the rifle. Of note is that I was a Jarhead with an expert badge at one time and I was no slouch but the sandbags and the firm grip made the difference for me. Don't use my sled anymore. If you get a chance...give it a try you might be surprised. More like hunting anyway as I always go over my pack, a tree branch, a knee, or whatever is handy.
