Does anyone on here have a Christensen Ridgeline in 300wsm? I'm really looking into buying on just wondering on the accuracy ya'll are getting with them, I've got 300wsm dies so I can load for it just wondering about the accuracy of these rifles before I go and buy one, any help with be greatly appreciated. I know they guarantee sub MOA with their rifle I'm guessing that's with factory loaded ammo.
Thanks
Kerry G.

It should be fine

I dont know what mag box Christensen uses but the 2.85 is gonna severely hamper you on what bullet you will be able to use without a bunch of the bearing surface of the bullet stuffed down in the case eating up powder capacity. A wyatts 3.00 box is better a med. length action is the ideal situation

So you think I should just order and Proof Barrel build a 300wsm on a long action?

whats the ideal OAL I need in a magazine if I plan to shoot Berger 185 classic hunters or possibly 168 berger classic hunters.

Buddy of mine bought a ridgeline in 300 wsm. We broke in the barrel with factory 200 gr eldx Precision Hunter ammo, zeroed at 100 and shot groups at 440 yds. Rifle held between .6-.75 MOA and velocity trued @ 2779 fps. Barrel only has 20-30 rounds on it so I'm sure he will pick up a little speed down the road. Even at 2800 fps, the 200 gr eldx still provides lots of performance and is certainly more than enough for what he wanted out of it which was to have a 600 yd capable lightweight big game rifle. The rifle was too light for my taste and I did not care for the geometry of the stock. He didn't mind it and shot it well and that's all that matters.

I have a Ridgline in 300wsm. I originally had to send it back to Christensen because it was showing over pressure signs on all factory loads I tried. They fixed it really fast, and now is shooting around .6 MOA with the 175 Hammer Hunters. I love it.

So your just shooting factory loads out of it? what did they do to fix the pressure problem? could you do me a favor and measure the inside length of the magazine please sir if you have a caliper!
