What whitetail type hunting bullets are you guys using with the X Bolt 1-7 twist? I'm having a hard time getting the Berger 135 Classic Hunters to shoot well in mine? Any particular loads with that bullet? What bullets are shooting good in yours?

I'd suggest a 131gr or 137gr hammer hunter. They expensive mono copper, but regarded as very accurate and not fussy about distance from lands.

ADG brass, 210M primers, H4350 powder,147 grain ELD-M Hornady bullets. adjust seating depth of bullets.

143 eld x with 41.5 gr. Of H4350

No way that's a 1/7 twist 6.5 from the factory, 1/8 maybe. Try heavier bullets, or try Berger's ammo in the 135gr hunter. Berger bullets in lapua brass for under $30 a box, good stuff.

I have a 6.5 CM Browning X-Bolt Pro with a 1:8 twist and shoot nothing above 143 gr. with excellent results. That twist is not for heaver bullets.

Th X-Bolt Pro Long Range has the1:7 twist for heavier bullets, say 147 gr. and above. This twist is not for lighter bullets than say 143 gr.
