Schmitt & Bender feedback

I don't really know what I posted that you all consider trolling? Was it the link or the word supporter? Either way I would consider that a pretty thin skinned definition of trolling. As for any posts directed at me I found nothing offensive most of it made me laugh. I considered it all in good fun even calling me a Democrat funny because it couldn't have been further from the truth.
In fact anyone who said that was taking it to far kinda sounded like a soft hearted democrat to me.
The way I look at it is,if what is posted is to much for a person to handle all they have to do is turn off the computer.

Glad you feel that way, I redacted my last post.:D
I do want to keep things kind of civil, one of the reasons this is about the only website I post on. I don't believe a little prodding (jokingly) hurts, but I know it's hard to tell intent via written word (hence the smiley emoji and such). Even the spoken word interpreted by a bystander can be misconstrued. A while back one of the guys in my unit and I were going back and forth on the phone. My wife asked if I even liked him, to which I responded "I love that dude, he is awesome". She said she couldn't tell. I told her that guys (men) talk to each other the same whether they like each other or not, it's all in the presentation. I really have nothing informative to add to this thread so...Carry on gentlemen!

Nothing thus far has been taken too far by any reasonable standards. Besides maybe derailing the OP

And for having a part in derailing the thread I apologise. The rest was in meant in good fun. Cheers!

This is too good of a discussion to get bogged down. This forum has a reputation for a smooth back and forth for the most part from very knowledgeable sportsmen. A quality flow is what attacts us new members to your fun site and thus glean some insite into long range.

I have had a few Schmidt's over the years and only have one now simply because I have to many guns and with all the trading I do I simply can't afford to keep all my guns scopes up with TT and Schmidt's. However, if I were rich I would! Glass is such a touchy subject and everyone's eyes and expectations are different. I have had about every scope made and I do full tests on all of them and I am a "supporter" of Schmidt, kahles, swaro and NF! With that being said I have seen problems with some of these models testing. Whether tracking was off, reticle was canted, subtensions were incorrect, reticle shift when adjusting magnification. Despite how much u spend on glass, that price tag don't make them immune to defects. Just know that going in! Fortunately all the companies have made the problem right that I have had. Despite the scope u have to know what to look at, and test prior to embarking on that long range shot whether on steel or an animal.

Anyone want to get quarrel about what color is the very best? Red, blue, green? Once we get that settled we can go on to more important things like Chevy vs Ford & college football. Lol. Nah, I think I will pass on all of that

Good comments, that's kinda what I was thinking. I like your user ID. I've got a buddy we call Mule Skinner.
