Best warm weather sock!?

Whats the best/favorite sock for warm weather? My feet always get sweaty and my boots are non insulated. Thanks!

I always use some sort of merino wool no matter what the temp is. Wool is excellent for pulling moisture away from the skin and also helps with scent control. morning, I buy full nylon socks from china. very weight,
very cool and boots slide on and off with no problem.
I am an aircraft mechanic/Inspector. work outside a lot.
In the winter time I wear a pair of full nylon socks and a
pair of light weight cotton for warmth and dry feet.

Do you feel like the merino wool becomes "less comfy" after a wash?

Darn tough and Firstlite merino wool have alway been my go to. I do change my socks mid day if need be on the warmer hunts.

Darn Tough makes a sock with the regular cushion bottom and a breathable upper around the instep. They call it micro something or other. I pickup up a pair but haven't tried them yet.

I haven't noticed a difference in feel, but I do make sure to wash my wool in light detergents made especially for wool and I usually air dry or low dryer setting

Smart wool, year round.

I have a friend that hikes for months at a time, I asked him what he wear on his trips.
He wears Smart Wool and now I do too. I didn't care for the price when I bought my first pair but now have many pairs. when you buy them you have different choices of thickness.

Darn Tuff are a bit pricey... but they are well worth the money spent... washing mine didn't seem to change comfort level..

Darn Tough 100%. Just call or email them and they will help you choose the right ones. They pull the moisture away from your feet. As for washing I wash them with everything else just like normal then toss em on the line. Just got a few new pairs... for free. My old ones lasted 8-10 years then developed holes so I sent them in.

High quality wool socks of the appropriate weight. No cotton, ever. Smart wool is a quality brand.

Also applying antiperspirant to the bottom of your feet helps.

I have been wearing Merino wool blend purchased in a pack from SAMs Club for about five years. To me, they are as comfortable and durable as any other high dollar sock I have worn. And, yes I am a strong believer in putting antipersperant on my feet...dry feet stay warm when cold and less risk for blistering.
