What GPS do you prefer?

Most people don't. Same goes for dope on a rifle. Take away peoples phones and computers, all of a sudden 90% of people on here can't shoot at 1760y anymore.

But I'm not here to assume the OP's experience. I just thought it was relative to ask, to give a better fit. The 64st IS capable of doing most or all, but I was considering the cost requirements and that leaves the etrex 30. But for a hundred to two hundred more, the 64st is a excellent gps IMO.

Had a Rino 650 for 3 years here in Aus & basically I think its sucked!
I know it was the 1st model with the combined uhf/gps range & as usual your better waiting for the 2nd OR 3rd version but the idea behing it is great with the 2nd party location etc.
Mostly because the radio reception was very poor but also the screen resolution was to pixely as well.
Have now gone separate radio & GPS with the Garmin 64sc & an Australian GME radio.

I hope the rino 750 has a marked improvement in the radio & resolution area!

I don't pay for except for the 2-3 months a year I want it active but I use the GPS portion a ton! It bluetooths to my phone so I can use my phone as the GPS
 
I have a Garmin inReach Mini, It couples with my cell and offers over the horizon Comms. OI also use onX maps, and Basemaps on my cell.
 
I have switched to using my phone. I download the maps to use offline. Last year i used onx and the eartmate app from my inreach. This year i am trying the basemap and will use the eartmate app. Last year i carried my garmin as a backup. This year i dont think i am even taking my garmin.

What kind of storage requirements on the phone are needed, or can the maps be downloaded to a mini SD card?
