Savage high country

I wish the high country 6.5 prc had a 26" barrel. But i may end up with that....or the m77 Hawkeye longe range that does have 26" pipe. I am really used to the accutrigger and all my savages shoot well so tahts a hard choice...
That is the problem with savage - they are boringly accurate. These new accufit accustocks are bomb.com, so no need for an aftermarket...i personally love the accutrigger, easy to get down to a crisp 1.5lbs, and their barrels are so dang accurate, no need to rebarrel...its a turn key operation. No fun for people who feel a need to tinker but perfect for people who want a work horse right out of the box.

I shoot a 6mm grendel 24 inch bull barrel AR At Wiley coyotes. If the haven't been called a bunch, buckshot. Its sub moa capable with Lapua brass, getting 8 reloads is a plus.

I have a new 6.5 PRC, with a 24" carbon fiber barrel, Christian Arms Ridgeline. I'm hand loading Berger 140 VLD Hunting Bullets with
H1000-58.5grains and Federal benchrest primers. Cronograpged at average 3123 FPS. Less than 1/2" group at 100 yds. Hope this helps.

That does help....i could deal with that...thank you. The 24 tube may be just fine.....

I'm still in the breakin process with less than 50 rounds fired. I believe this rifle will be a good all around caliber. I hunt coyotes and am excited about seeing how well it will work on windy days. I'm satisfied so far with my purchase.

Yeah thats a lot of gained range @3000+ fps. And i like h1000 since i burn it in other stuff too and its temp stabile. Too many reasons now....hopfully by fall i can drop some coin...
